I often get asked for some tips on finding healthy snacks at work.

Well, a successful snack has to have two components. One, it has to be convenient. You’ll never reach for it if it’s too much work to get at, especially in a work environment. And number two, it has to taste good. That’s why that afternoon cookie or chocolate bar is so appealing.

Try taking a box of cereal to work and just leave it there. When you are looking for a healthy snack its right there for you to grab. You can have a handful of dry cereal to munch on, or, to spice it up a bit more, just grab a coffee mug, fill it with cereal and if you have coffee creamers at work, just pour that in too. Presto, a healthy snack at work.

Bottom Line: There are many opportunities for healthy snacking at work. It just to takes a bit of imagination and it has to be convenient.
