Dr.’s Notes Script It seems we’re spending more and more time in our cars, commuting back and forth to work. An hour on the road each way is pretty common these days. That’s not even factoring in bad weather. I’m on the road a quite a bit too but, I kinda look forward to it. Why? Well I’ve got my Commuter Snack Pack beside me. I use this travel time to snack. It’s convenient, it’s right beside me. It’s loaded with healthy food. I don’t have to worry about calories from junk food. Not only that, it stops me from dropping by those tempting drive-through windows. I have to give my wife credit for this idea. She’ll take a big soft cooler, load it with enough bottled water, apple juice, fruit, nuts, food bars and even vitamin supplements to last me a few days. Typically, I’ll have breakfast at seven, drop the kids off for nine and I find myself digging into my Commuter Snack Pack at nine-o-one. It’s perfect because we should be snacking on something every two to two and a half hours. It’s a really great tip. Try it for a week and you’ll be hooked. |
